UPLIFT Desk is hiring a Content Strategist to craft compelling copy for our website, technical documents, email campaigns, social media captions, advertising efforts, and more. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints, ensuring that every piece of content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with our brand's identity. This role involves not only creating and editing content but also strategizing on how best to communicate with our audience to drive engagement and conversions.
Success in this role will require a deep understanding of audience targeting, SEO best practices, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content. The ideal candidate is a versatile writer with a knack for storytelling, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for creating content that resonates with diverse audiences.
The role is perfect for someone who is experienced, creative, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure that all content not only meets but exceeds our customers' expectations.
Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or a related field. Experience with technical writing and familiarity with SEO principles are highly desirable.
Required Qualifications (no more than 5 bullet points)
- 5+ years ecommerce copywriting experience
- SEO expert
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications (no more than 5 bullet points)
- Experience with G-suite/Google Workspace (docs and spreadsheets)
- Experience with a CMS platform, such as Contentful
- Experience with project management software, such as AirTable
What You’ll Do (no more than 10 bullet points)
- Create a web-based customer journey that drives customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty
- Write/edit clear, concise, clean, and SEO optimized copy for new product pages as well as existing web pages
- Optimize and incorporate keywords into copy for optimal searchability
- Work closely and collaboratively with content writers, web developers, and the multimedia team to create and maintain compelling landing pages and product listings to drive our brand story, customer engagement and sales.
- Create compelling A+/enhanced pages by recommending photos and video content for our multimedia team to produce
- Collaborate with photography and video teams to ensure best-in-class product/lifestyle imagery
- Help develop ecommerce content strategy for UPLIFT Desk products
- Understand and assist in communicating a shared vision across the organization on prioritization, business case assessment, requirements, and user stories
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
