JFN Mechanical, Inc., a Phoenix based HVAC Contractor is looking to add a Mechanical (HVAC) Foreman to the team. JFN Mechanical, Inc. is one of the leading Contractors in Arizona primarily focusing on large scale new construction housing projects such as multi-family apartments/condos, assisted living, student housing, and hospitality. We are looking for an aggressive, self-motivated and strongly organized individual capable of filling this leadership role.
Experience:
- Must have experience in multi-family HVAC systems.
- Must be able to read blueprints, construction documents and shop drawings. (Plumbing Plans, Architectural Plans, Mechanical Plans, Structural Plans, etc.)
- Must be able to understand project specific submittals.
- Must have basic computer / I-Pad skills.
- Must have strong written and oral communication, organization and time management skills.
- HVAC Journeyman licenses is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for leading projects from the ground work all the way up to the trim and close-out stage.
- Will be in charge of managing and directing crews up to 20 workers
- Will be responsible for accurate HVAC layouts with the assistance of construction documents and shop drawings. (slab on grade layout, concrete podium and stick frame layout, concrete slab layouts / high rise construction)
- Complete project specific material take-offs.
- Attend weekly sub-contractor meetings to discuss progress, scheduling, RFI’s, plan changes, etc.
- Produce project specific RFI’s
- Identify project changes and produce Change Orders as needed.
- Communication with assigned Project Manager and office staff.
Compensation will be based on experience ($25.00 - $35.00 per hour).
