Job Summary
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems while learning the trade under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Responsibilities
- Installation of standby generators
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints to determine wiring layouts
- Help with testing electrical systems using ohmmeters and other tools
- Support senior electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on construction sites
Qualifications
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
- Basic knowledge of construction site practices
- Interest in becoming an electrician
- Ability to learn frame carpentry for electrical installations
- Willingness to build knowledge of high and low voltage systems
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Capability to read and understand electrical blueprints
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $18.86 - $25.00 per hour
