Summary of the Role
Hotel Dryce, a vibrant 21-room boutique hotel located Fort Worth, Texas’ Cultural District, is seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead our team. Our hotel is not just a place to stay; it's an experience—a hub of culture, community, and creativity. The General Manager will be the day-to-day driving force behind building and nurturing our unique culture, ensuring every guest experiences the distinct vibe that sets Hotel Dryce apart. This role demands a passionate leader who can elevate our brand, enhance guest experiences, and create an inclusive and inspiring work environment. The General Manager role requires regular availability, flexibility to cover shifts, manage emergencies, and fulfill various duties, ensuring smooth operations and high standards during all operating hours.
Compensation
- Salary: $85K to $95K commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture Building:
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative work environment that aligns with Hotel Dryce’s brand identity.
- Lead by example, inspiring and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional service that embody the hotel’s values.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance the hotel's unique cultural vibe, both for guests and staff.
- Guest Experience:
- Ensure every guest has a memorable experience, from check-in to check-out, by overseeing all aspects of hotel operations.
- Actively engage with guests, gathering feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Oversee rooms, lobby bar and outdoor courtyard, ensuring these spaces consistently deliver the lively, welcoming atmosphere Hotel Dryce is known for.
- Operational Excellence:
- Manage day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as hotel policies and standards.
- Monitor and manage the hotel’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Community Engagement & Brand Promotion:
- Serve as the face of Hotel Dryce within the local community, building relationships with local businesses, organizations and brand partners.
- Collaborate with the hotel ownership to promote the hotel through various channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.
- Plan and execute events that align with the hotel’s brand and attract both locals and visitors.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality management, with a healthy track record of leading teams, driving culture and profitability.
- Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for culture building.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
