Primary Purpose of Job:
- Maintain all commercial kitchen, commercial refrigeration, beverage and fuel dispensing equipment and facilities in good working order.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with the store team members and the customers.
- Work efficiently using good routing and time management skills to quickly prioritize repairs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment according to established safety procedures
- Maintain the proper mechanical ability needed to safely address work orders based on technician trade assignment.
Functions of this position:
- Work efficiently using good routing and time management skills to quickly prioritize repairs. Ensure all work orders are resolved within the predetermined time frame.
- Work efficiently to address all work orders in each location.
- Ensure all applicable administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately.
- Attend and participate meetings, training classes, tech rides, and other resources to maintain and improve technical proficiency.
Requirements for this position include:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a reputable refrigeration school or successful completion of Apprenticeship Program
- Mechanical aptitude including a basic knowledge of (HVACR) systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
- Minimum 2 years refrigeration systems experience with EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal certification is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair general equipment
- Ability to efficiently route and prioritize work orders daily.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- The hours for this position may vary according to projects and deadlines and will include overnights, holidays, and weekends.
