Hi Guys,
In an effort to save time here's the skinny:
We are looking for a lead tech that has experience running a service truck. If your entire experience is new construction, then you are NOT the candidate we are looking for. We are looking for a journeyman level candidate that understands the flow of running a service truck.
Preferably someone with experience doing commercial service/repair work (General electrical, lighting, signs). If you have some experience doing low voltage work (Audio, HME, Cameras, Cat5 cabling, etc.), thats a big plus!
I am a Master Electrician and I own TechChefs 100%. We are a 9-man crew of service electricians. Our focus is 100% commercial (So you aren't going to see MANY hot Texas attics, mostly just popping ceiling tiles).
Journeyman Service Tech pay: $26-$35/hr plus benefits.
If you are a good fit for this role, here are more details:
On a typical day you'll meet at the shop at 7:00-7:30am (Duncanville), hop in a truck, and service 1-3 different commercial locations per day. Experienced service Techs can be assigned a company truck to drive home.
This is not a job where you'll bend pipe all day, you'll actually pull your multi-meter out, and use it frequently. Some people love service work, some hate it, we are looking for the Techs that love service work.
Service work really requires you to think critically and use deductive reasoning to troubleshoot and solve faults. You'll probably be using your multi-meter EVERYDAY.
Service work also requires you to interact directly with customers, explain what is wrong, and clearly communicate solutions.
We are looking for Techs that are aligned with our core values. We believe that God blessed us with skilled hands, and we are to use those gifts to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace on earth. Our goal is to be a blessing to those we serve--that includes our Techs.
If you believe you are aligned with these values and you want to join our team, send an email or call Ty Thompson at 214-392-9099.
