Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various electrical environments, including construction sites and industrial settings. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with both low and high voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs on low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician in a construction or industrial setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
