Responsibilities for the General Manager Mechanical Services position includes::
- Provide strategic leadership to drive efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth.
- Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve company goals.
- Lead Design Build & Planned Maintenance sales and marketing efforts to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
- Deliver complete Design Build solutions for commercial HVAC or Refrigeration projects.
- Manage and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to drive profitability and operational excellence.
Requirements for the General Manager Mechanical Services position includes::
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration trade.
- At least 5 years in a commercial general manager or operations manager leadership role.
- Senior Commercial Mechanical Project Managers looking to move into the office in a GM role are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial HVAC and/or Refrigeration Design Build projects.
- Strong track record of driving business growth, managing P&L, and achieving financial targets.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems, installation, maintenance, service, technologies, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
