Service Squad Plumbing and Air Conditioning hires experienced full-time HVAC journeyman service technicians. This position involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and emergency services for air conditioning units, furnaces, commercial HVAC systems, chillers, data centers, and server room air conditioning units like Libert. Our company provides comprehensive services to commercial facilities, high-rise buildings, and residential homes in the Houston Metro and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates should possess at least four years of verifiable experience in residential or commercial air conditioning and heater troubleshooting, repairs, and installation. In addition to technical expertise, this position requires effectively communicating with customers and offering suitable solutions for their HVAC needs, including repairs, service agreements, and replacement equipment.
Our HVAC service and sales technicians typically work Monday through Friday, with flexible hours ranging from 7 am to 7 pm, depending on the timing of jobs. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN POSITION:
- Strong leadership skills and a strong work ethic
- Must possess a valid TDLR certified tech or Class A or B contractor license
- EPA universal certification
- Commercial HVAC and chiller work experience is a plus.
- Must have experience in troubleshooting and repair of Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Mitsubishi, American Standard, York, Daikin, and Goodman mini splits, split systems, package units
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated areas or small crawl spaces
- Ability to provide your own basic set of tools
- Willingness to work weekends and nights
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test if required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
