Position Overview:
Are you an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in the Houston area? We’re looking for a motivated professional to join our team. In this role, you’ll service, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of commercial refrigeration, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician position include:
● Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various commercial HVAC units.
● Diagnose and resolve issues in heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems promptly and effectively.
● Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service calls and projects.
● Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and services provided.
● Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on proper system maintenance.
Requirements for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician position include:
● High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC and/or refrigeration certification preferred.
● A minimum of 3-6 years proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a strong commercial background is required.
● Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience commercial refrigeration experience ranging from walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers and reach-in freezers/coolers is preferred.
● Previous lead or foreman experience is preferred.
● A current TDLR Technician card is required.
● Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, components, and principles.
● Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing refrigeration issues.
● EPA Type II license is required
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time efficiently.
● Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, also ability to work independently and be a go getter.
● Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
