Job Summary
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Duties
- Designing HVAC systems for new construction projects
- Installing HVAC systems including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical wiring
- Performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
- Repairing or replacing defective components in HVAC systems
- Troubleshooting HVAC system issues and providing solutions
- Reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Utilizing mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix problems
- Working with ammonia refrigeration systems (nice-to-have)
- Conducting appliance repair as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Certification or license in HVAC repair and maintenance
- Ability to plumb, weld, and build HVAC components
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems (nice-to-have)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and schematics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.10 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
