Position Overview:
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operations of our air conditioning company. You will work closely with the management team to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of the business while maintaining high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise in the HVAC industry, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the office, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
Supervise and support technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards.
Assist in scheduling and dispatching technicians to service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks.
Conduct quality control inspections to uphold service excellence and identify areas for improvement.
Work with city departments and inspectors to pull permits and schedule inspections.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
Drive sales performance to meet and exceed targets through effective sales strategies.
Prepare reports, track sales, invoice customers, collect payments, reconcile expenses, analyze data, and provide recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of air conditioning systems, installation, repair, and maintenance.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
Proficiency in organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with HVAC software and scheduling tools is preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
