Sheetmetal installer Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components and systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of HVAC systems.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Install and connect ductwork, vents, and air conditioning units.
- Inspect and test installed systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with sheet metal components and systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills:
- Proficient in sheet metal design and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components.
- Experience in appliance renovation & repair is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with sheet metal components.
- Knowledge of boiler making techniques for property maintenance or construction projects.
- Ability to build, install, repair, or maintain mechanical equipment or machinery.
- Field service experience is preferred for on-site repairs or installations.
