Kitchen Tune-Up is a rapidly growing remodeling business based in Round Rock, Texas. Founded in 2023 by Sid and Dhara Sanghavi, our company specializes in transforming bathrooms, with a focus on tub-to-shower conversions and full remodels. With a goal to double our revenue in 2025, we are looking to expand our team and bring on a dedicated Project Manager who will help drive our growth while maintaining our reputation for high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team and help oversee and execute bathroom remodeling projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical and leadership skills. The Project Manager will work closely with the owners, Sid and Dhara, to manage multiple remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Ideal Start Date: ASAP, ideally onboard and ready to go by January.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Visits: Inspect work sites, ensure safety, and confirm materials and equipment are in place.
- Team Briefing: Align project goals with subcontractors and in-house teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Address any delays, on-site issues, or changes during the project.
- Ordering Materials: Ensure timely ordering and delivery of all materials required for the project.
- Client Relations: Handle customer concerns and feedback efficiently.
- Budget Oversight: Track expenses and maintain project budgets, ensuring profitability.
- Subcontractor Meetings: Coordinate and manage subcontractor work and timelines.
- Documentation: Review contracts, manage change orders, and maintain updated project logs.
- Progress Checks: Monitor project milestones and adjust schedules as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and resolve bottlenecks that could impact project timelines or quality.
- Daily Review: Review the team’s completed tasks and plan for the next day’s work.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for clients and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of project mangment experience, specifically in kitchen and bath remodeling or a similar field.
- Skills: Strong background in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and working with subcontractors.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and managing their expectations throughout the remodeling process.
- Technology: Comfortable using construction management software or project management tools.
- Construction Knowledge: Familiar with plumbing, electrical systems, cabinetry, countertops, and tiling in kitchen and bath renovations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to manage unforeseen challenges and adapt to changes on-site.
- Location: Must live within 30-45 minutes of Round Rock, TX.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
- Commission: 7% of total sales (with a goal of maintaining a gross margin above 40%)
- First-Year Income Potential: $70,000 - $90,000
