VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a PLC technician for a leading organization in Belen, NM
As a PLC Technician you will:
- Troubleshoot and upgrade existing Equpment to new equipment design & Implementation.
- Perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment.
- Implement machine control knowledge and understand classical control theory.
- Operate Fluke Meters, and other electronic test equipment.
- Elaborate electrical schematic drawings using AutoCad and Autocad electrical
- SCADA developing knowledge: Ignition, Python and Labview
PLC Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BA in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred
- 3 or more years engineering experience with direct PLC programming required
- PLC programming experience required
- HMI development with RSview32, FT view & C-more panels
- Hardware design experience with PCL/VFD wiring diagrams
- Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix & Micrologix
- Experience with Koyo PLC programming
- Industrial network protocols knowledge with Ethernet I/P, DeviseNET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP.
- Motion control Knowledge with servo, stepper, DC, AC drives
- Serial communication knowledge with RS232/ 485.
This is a Full Time, Temp to Hire opportunity
Pay for this position is $31.26-$34.20 per hour DOE
