Production Maintenance Technician

Zentis is Europe's number one fruit processing company and one of the leading brand manufacturers of jams, sweets and custard-based dessert. The Company's North American operations are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and PM tasks on production equipment, building equipment, and other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain Production Equipment
- Perform PM tasks on Production Equipment
- Performing various electrical tasks
- Performing other miscellaneous duties assigned by Supervisor.
- Maintaining building equipment

Formal Education Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent and/or
Trade school
Associates degree preferred.

Specific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:

3 or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Special Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to organize, prioritize and execute assigned tasks.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills & knowledge on 24v – 480v systems and components.
- PLC and control knowledge – Siemens and or Rockwell Allen Bradley.
- Motor & Motor control knowledge.
- Understanding operation manuals and schematics.
- Good people skills.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, SAP.
- At times technician will be required to perform equipment repairs in difficult, tight, and awkward areas, lift equipment and parts weighing up to 50 lbs., work at heights up to 30 feet as well as in hot or cold environments.
