Our Downtown Cleveland apartment community is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor.
Should have apartment/building management and solid knowledge about all the aspects of residential property maintenance, which includes routine and preventive maintenance, turnover maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other general maintenance to maintain a residential property.
Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community, preserving all buildings and equipment at a peak level of operation and appearance at the most reasonable level of expense possible. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities include:
- Two (2-3) Years minimum of Apartment Maintenance Experience
- Inspection of apartment units at move out and Directing staff on turnover of vacant units in a timely manner
- Leadership skills, organizational skills and team building skills.
- Coordination and completion of work order requests
- Regular inspection of buildings and grounds
- Managing and participating in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
- During winter months - the coordination and participation in snow removal
- Purchasing of supplies, Inventory control and organization
- Ensuring excellent resident relations for both themselves and other staff members
