Requirements:
- Valid MN Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A MN Journeyman/Masters License (unless you are applying as an apprentice)
- Knowledge of Construction Documents (blueprints, specifications, product cut sheets, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of NEC and NFPA70E
- Ability to manage project schedules, and demonstrate critical thinking skills with the capacity to troubleshoot and make logical project minded decisions
- Ability to work independently
- Team mentality and desire to educate and train Apprentices
- High level safety knowledge and awareness
- Competent in email and project management platforms such as Procore and Bluebeam
- Perform as a self-starter and also a team player
- Comprehensive understanding, knowledge, and experience with commercial and industrial projects of all types.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work in all elements depending on project location and season
· Must be able to stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop and drive for long periods
· Must be able to work on step ladders, extension ladders, and in aerial platform lifts
· Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
Preferred Training/Certification:
· OSHA 10/20/30 certification
· MEWP training certification
· Fall protection and ladder safety
· Arc Flash and PPE training
· CPR
Valued Skills:
- Demonstrate excellent Customer Service through communication with the end user and the Management team.
- Lead apprentices to allow learning and development
- Layout and efficiently manage large and small projects
- Manage and maintain project documents and schedules.
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Set switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipment
- Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and maintain all types of electrical systems
- Measure, cut and bend conduit
