We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC-service technician / Service Plumber to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems as well as plumbing systems. Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain various HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose HVAC issues and provide solutions to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water heaters, pipe systems, fixtures, and drains.
- Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, or malfunctions in pipes and fixtures.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, explaining the services performed and offering recommendations for improvements.
- Keep accurate records of services, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on appliances, plumbing, light electrical work, and light carpentry.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC repair and installation.
- EPA certification required; boiler experience is a plus.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have your own tools.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for use of a company vehicle.
- Regular hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, on call would be overtime
