Send Smiles, a family-owned and operated florist, is seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to join our growing team in Fort Myers. Our family has four generations of expertise in the floral business, and we are actively expanding our brand and opening up new locations.
*This is not a retail store, it will be online sales only*
The Job
- Oversee daily operations of the shop, including staff management and inventory control
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement of floral products
- Supervise staff and provide ongoing training and development
- Act as the primary purchaser of florals, managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely procurement of high-quality flowers and supplies
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability
- Oversee budgeting, pricing, and expense control to ensure profitability.
What Were Looking For
- Previous management experience, floral industry not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
