Summary
As the Restaurant General Manager at Blue Collar, you will oversee daily operations and ensure that our guests receive top-notch service. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence while leading a dedicated team to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a strong team.
- Implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for food and beverage procurement.
- Drive marketing initiatives to promote restaurant offerings and increase customer engagement.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in casual dining.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems and financial management in a restaurant setting.
- Experience in training development to enhance staff capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
