We are looking for a Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of excellence.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, industry trends, and a proven ability to analyze project requirements to develop competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate estimates.
- Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs for commercial HVAC projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to develop competitive proposals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, costs, and innovations to ensure accurate estimates.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess project requirements.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to clients when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC estimating, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
Compensation:
- Salary: $70,000 - $100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- Performance-based bonuses.
