Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the
maintenance operations of HVAC systems across a campus of five data center buildings. The
ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and
experience working with JCI Control Systems and HVAC maintenance in a data center
environment. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with scheduling and coordination
duties, working closely with the onsite Facility Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of 5 HVAC technicians to
ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Scheduling and Coordination: Collaborate with the onsite Facility Manager to
schedule routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and system upgrades.
System Oversight: Manage and maintain META systems with JCI Control Systems to
ensure uninterrupted operations in the data center environment.
Maintenance Operations: Oversee and participate in preventive and corrective
maintenance of HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, and other critical
components.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations, company
policies, and safety standards.
Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues promptly to maintain
optimal environmental conditions in the data centers.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and
system performance metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to increase
efficiency and system reliability.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
o Proficiency with JCI Control Systems.
Preferred Experience:
o HVAC maintenance experience in a data center environment.
o Prior experience managing HVAC technicians.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their applications in mission-critical
environments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC maintenance and supervisory roles.
Availability to respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
