Who You Are

Assists the project team by input to identify key success factors, timing of design and procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of HVAC services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost. Evaluates HVAC service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on to go" scope. Monitors the implementation of safety orientations safety indoctrinations and gang box meetings and provides coaching for improvement. Monitors crews for organizational structure sizing crew mix ratios and wage compliance. Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budget for installation process and develops a staff facilities equipment and tool requirement plan.

This is a contingent position based on contract award

What You’ll Do

As a HVAC Supervisor, you will:

Assist with Project Planning: Provide input to the project team to identify key success factors, appropriate timing for design and procurement deliverables, and help establish common work breakdown structures.
Provide Leadership: Lead the creation of organizational structures and processes necessary to effectively execute HVAC services, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Manage HVAC Service Execution: Oversee the execution of HVAC services, ensuring they meet the contract requirements, design specifications, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.
Evaluate and Advise: Continuously evaluate the progress of HVAC service execution, advising the project team on the status, issues, potential impacts, risks, and cost influencing factors of ongoing scope.
Monitor Safety Practices: Oversee the implementation of safety orientations, safety indoctrinations, and gang box meetings, providing coaching to improve safety practices among the crew.
Oversee Crew Organization and Compliance: Monitor the organizational structure of the crew, including sizing, crew mix ratios, and compliance with wage regulations.
Manage Costs and Budgets: Review and monitor the cost and man-hour budget for the HVAC installation process, making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial limits.
Develop Resource Plans: Develop plans for staffing, facilities, equipment, and tools required to meet project needs, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and used.
Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
Enhance Crew Performance: Identify areas for improvement within the crew's performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
Technical or Vocational Training: Advanced training from a technical school or community college in HVAC systems is highly recommended.
HVAC Experience: 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
Supervisory Experience: 3+ year of experience managing teams in an HVAC setting, overseeing projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

Clearance:Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
