Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. This role is essential for executing various electrical tasks in both commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including experience with high and low voltage systems, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Journeyperson, you will play a vital role in building and renovating electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage systems as required.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to execute installations accurately.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
