In this role as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your expertise in providing technical support and coordination in the Facilities Department is essential to minimize ‘business as usual' interruption. From preventative to predictive maintenance of multiple FANUC America sites in accordance with state, local and regulatory compliance, you'll also be hands-on with routine and more complex repair and general maintenance projects. You will diagnose and monitor plant operations including plumbing, electrical, interior/exterior services, and compressed air to name a few. Are you ready?
Primary responsibilities will include
- Address facility related daily issues through work order system (Facilities Quick Track, FQT)
- Provide input and assistance on special projects (e.g. construction projects, equipment selection, cost-reductions, etc.)
- Monitor and maintain building comfort level though the computer BAS system and daily audits
- Repair or modify items including but not limited to doors, furniture, plumbing, filters and other facility related equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical motors, circuits and plumbing
- Issue resolution of any raised/recognized facility issues
- Coordinate and report on small to large infrastructure projects
- Operate / program computerized energy management systems
- Audit all areas of the facility to verify project completion or quality of services performed in those areas, which can include elevated areas
- Local travel to various FANUC America sites as needed
- Create specifications for preventative and predictive maintenance by outside vendors and assist in the execution of those activities
Primary responsibilities will include:
- H.S. Diploma Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in plant operations
- Experience with construction documents, and blueprints
- Working knowledge of HVAC equipment, compressors, and equipment and tools
- Basic understanding of MIOSHA regulatory standards, Safety Data Sheets, Personal Protective Equipment, etc
- Working knowledge of environmental compliance issues
- Working knowledge of electrical, security systems, interior/exterior services, and plumbing
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade School or Technical School Completion
- Technical Certifications
- HVAC Controls Programming experience
