Sales Manager - Multi-Family HVAC New Construction

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to help drive our continued growth and success in the multi-family HVAC new construction sector.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a motivated leader with a proven track record in HVAC sales and project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC and a passion for building relationships, securing new business, and retaining key accounts. Success in this role requires a blend of sales acumen, effective communication, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, learning their objectives and processes to align our bids and services with their needs.
- Identify value engineering solutions and clarify scopes of work to ensure our proposals stand out and meet customer expectations.
- Proactively seek and earn scope review meetings with potential clients to drive new business opportunities.
- Monitor project pipelines, staying informed of upcoming opportunities and maintaining awareness of project status.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including preconstruction, project management, and estimators, to prepare accurate bids and ensure smooth project handovers.
- Play a key role in securing successful bid awards by presenting compelling, tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Education & Experience
- 3+ years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience, with a focus on multi-family new construction.
- Prior experience in HVAC estimation, project management, or construction plan reading is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify client needs and provide cost-effective, value-driven solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated success in sales and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
Schedule & Location
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with travel as needed.
- Positions available in Charlotte, NC.
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary starting from $85,000/year, plus uncapped commission potential based on award volume. A reasonable bracket would be $125K-$175K Per Year.
