Distributor Corporation of New England (DCNE) is currently seeking a full-time Technical Support Manager to join their Technical Support team and provide onsite customer support of DCNE supported controls and equipment in the Greater Boston area.
Responsibilities include:
Provide customers with onsite, telephone and email support of DCNE supported controls systems, and equipment.
Provide customer training and familiarization on DCNE controls support and equipment.
Provide internal controls systems and equipment support of DCNE supported equipment.
Promote the sale of DCNE supported controls systems and equipment.
Interact with third parties requiring interface to DCNE supported equipment and controls systems.
Coordinate customer and end user financial concession requests when problems arise.
Support the manufactures of equipment DCNE supports for any factory recalls or advisories.
Communicate directly with contractors, customers, vendors and coordinate all necessary field activities.
Assist the engineering community in specifying DCNE supported controls systems.
Qualifications:
5 + years of experience as a Service Manager in the HVAC industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
Must be mechanical inclined.
Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license.
