Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journey person Electrician to join our team. We have a project starting up in Denver and need skilled Journeyman. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, performing renovations, and utilizing various hand tools and equipment to build and maintain electrical systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, installing logic controllers, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local building codes during all work performed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve functionality or efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or Commercial Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to electrical work.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A valid electrician's license or certification is preferred.
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
- A background as a maintenance person or in general construction is advantageous.
At this time - this role will be in Denver Colorado. The pay for this job will be prevailing wage plus a daily per diem for living expenses.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
