We will manufacture modular components for a variety of products, such as single-family homes, duplexes, town houses and apartment buildings.
Vederra Modular is seeking a Licensed Plumber for our location in Aurora, CO.
This is a working supervisor / department lead position. The Pay rate for this position will be competitive and depends on the experience of the selected candidate.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in plumbing systems installation, maintenance, repair and be able to lead a team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing work, particularly in residential and commercial construction. This role requires expertise in plumbing systems installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair; and the ability to manage and direct the work being performed on multiple projects running simultaneously, ensuring that all work complies with applicable codes and standards, and that workers follow acceptable safety procedures.

- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in modular construction units, including water supply piping, DWV piping, fixtures, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and plumbing schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Collaborate with management and other department supervisors to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Responsible for leading, effective management of materials and labor within the plumbing department. This includes the training of others in the department to perform required tasks.
- Work with plumbing systems, ensuring all installations meet applicable codes and safety standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced plumbers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of plumbing systems to identify potential problems, make necessary repairs and verify compliance.
Requirements
- Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and maintenance within construction environments, minimum 3-5 years residential or commercial.
- Strong knowledge of the International Plumbing Electrical Code (IPC).
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work.
- Ability to read and understand project plans, blue prints, schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
