Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and system efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and schematics to assess system performance.
- Weld components as necessary for system installation or repair.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems when required.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is preferred.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
