Lead Service Technician

McCarver Mechanical Heating and Cooling is currently seeking a full-time Lead Service Technician to join their team in Warren, Michigan! - Pay: $26 - $50/hour, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
The right candidate will have:
- 5+ years in the field preferred
- EPA Universal Certification & knowledge of code compliances
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be currently in the HVAC industry at a reputable HVAC company
- Specialty in Boiler Heating (both steam & hot water) & Tankless
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be able to use hand tools & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Knowledge in plumbing & electrical
- Excellent customer service skills
- Skilled in sales is encouraged!
Our Lead Service Technician will:
- Properly diagnose, service & repair various HVAC systems (it is a plus, but not required, if you have experience with boilers, tankless water heaters & SDHV systems!)
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with a team
- Teach an apprentice
- Peform annual maintenance on equipment
- Follow instructions/procedures
- Communicate with homeowners in regards to repair/service of their equipment
- Be Dependable, Punctual & Detail Oriented
