Our company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for signing and sealing electrical power and lighting drawings for large commercial projects. We are seeking a candidate with strong business development skills and proven leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. This position reports to the MEP (Department) Leader.
2. Responsible for the day-to-day Electrical Team (Department) performance, including personnel administration, project work distribution and planning, intra-office communication and coordination.
3. Serve as a technical resource. Provide coaching, training and mentoring to develop staff.
4. Supervises the preparation of electrical designs. Serve as Engineer of Record for select projects and signs and seals documents as required. Ensures staff is following the company QA/QC process and Design guidelines. May serve as the Design Engineer and/or Project Manager for select projects.
5. Assists in the Business Development and Marketing efforts including presentations, new client introductions and preparation of qualification submittals.
6. Prepares and reviews fee proposals.
7. Facilitates the preparation and review of monthly invoices. Tracks and facilitates follow-up on Accounts Receivables.
8. Develops and monitors departmental budget including fee projections.
9. Participates in the Corporate planning process and developing the Design team operational plan.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
