Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems in and commercial properties
- Install new HVAC systems and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Ensure proper functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and maintain refrigeration systems
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to extend the life of HVAC systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Certification or license as an HVAC technician
- Proven experience in property maintenance, including HVAC system maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
Skills:
- Experience in maintaining, building, and repairing boilers, refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) systems
- Ability to plumb and perform basic electrical work related to HVAC systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
