Job Summary:
Trane in Baltimore is hiring for the Systems Sales Manager role to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for your sales team to develop long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention. The goal is to grow our business to meet our overall market share and financial goals.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
- Accountable for the development and delivery of the Equipment Sales strategy to meet Annual Operating Plan.
- Responsible for ensuring overall customer satisfaction to include handling high level customer or national issues and ensuring effective and timely customer review activity.
- Accountable for revenue and margin achievement across Equipment sales and Operational Excellence control - establishing and driving the sales activities, forecasting and reporting on bookings, revenue, conversion rates and maintenance of overall pipeline.
- Accountable for the development and maintenance of the equipment sales plan to include management of leads, quotation activity and order generation.
- Responsible for the overall development and capabilities of the equipment team in line with Sales Force Effectiveness.
- Support human capital strategies, such as employee engagement, recruitment and retention, and diversity and inclusion.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical HVAC background or strong commercial and industrial sector experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Trane & other OEM products & services, including equipment and systems, controls, building automation systems, parts, service procedures, service agreements, project / contract management & ancillary HVAC products.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:

- DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Base Pay Range: $150,000-225,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
