A Full-Service Restoration company actively seeking a strong General Manager.
Our client is seeking a General Manager. This person will be a key leader toward the continued development and growth of the office. The General Manager will execute and deliver projects for clients as well as provide leadership and oversight to the Estimators, Project Managers and Superintendents. This person will also be a key leader in the pursuit of new opportunities by building relationships with targeted verticals to build the office.
Our client is a highly-respected, full-service, Insurance Restoration contractor who specializes in the mitigation and repair of properties compromised by water, fire and mold. They excel at providing customer-centric service and restoring residential properties to their pre-loss condition. Immediate Hire!
The General Manager will be responsible for oversight of all operations in the office. Responsibilities include: .
- Provide leadership, management, and accountability to the Owner
- Directly manage 2-3 assigned projects and provide oversight to other Project Managers and Division Directors
- Build excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and CSC team members
- Execute projects focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and profitability
- Directly contribute to development and future growth of team by recruiting, hiring, and leading team members
- Constant communication with Superintendents and Project Managers to review quality and output of work
- Spend time on job sites reviewing the quality of project execution
- Keep clients updated on the status of the project schedule
- Champion and model the core values of the company
Competencies:
- 5-7+ years of insurance restoration reconstruction management
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, or business management preferred
- Previous experience working for a restoration contractor or general contractor a plus
- Ability to develop and coach people in their current roles and prepare them for future roles
- Proactive in all things, acts without being told what to do
- Strong standards of excellence, expects personal and team performance to be nothing short of the best
- Process-oriented. Able to focus on establishing, following, and improving company processes
- Highly organized and planned. Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner
- Able to give and receive feedback in a calm manner
- Able to make a lasting impact on the lives of those around us while improving the condition of buildings
