Corporate HVAC technician is responsible for overseeing the HVAC needs of Traditions’ managed communities. They assist Community Maintenance Directors to trouble shoot issues, perform repairs, installations, and other services in the communities. This role will report to the Vice President of Facilities of Traditions Management and will oversee a portfolio of senior housing communities. This position can require travel up to 75% with overnight stays.
- The Corporate HVAC technician is tasked with several key duties, such as:
- Identify opportunities for improved operation to drive efficiency (process and cost) and make recommendations.
- Ensure quality control processes are in place to provide ongoing maintenance of key property environmental and physical plant systems.
- Performing contracted preventive maintenance for building under contract.
- Coordinating with vendors to schedule repairs or replacement parts.
- Meeting with Executive Directors/Maintenance Directors to discuss maintenance needs.
- Analyzing data to identify trends in equipment breakdowns and other problems.
- Establishing budgets for maintenance projects based on company standards.
- Developing plans to increase efficiency in equipment usage or reduce costs associated with equipment maintenance.
- Weekly reports of task done, projected work for next week, and running excel of invoices.
- Promptly invoicing of communities for repair job, within 2 days of completion.
- Responsible for monthly coding of use of company credit card.
Preferred Qualifications are as follows:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC technician role mandatory. Additional experience preferred in carpentry, drywall/plaster, plumbing, electrical, HVAC with heat pump experience, painting, and apartment preparation.
- Excellent communication skills are critical, including verbal and written.
- Must possess superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, propose workable solutions, and implement corrective actions in all situations.

Pay: $72,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year
