Field Manager
This opportunity is primarily in the greater New Orleans, LA area. A candidate must be living in this area to be considered for the position.
Spidexx Pest Control is seeking an ambitious Field Manager with an upbeat attitude and a commitment to honesty and hard work. This is a challenging pest control service position that requires dynamic thinking and creative problem-solving day-to-day. Training in leadership, management, and company development are provided with Spidexx Pest Control. Our training will ensure that a candidate is appropriately prepared to fulfill their field management responsibilities.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
· Hire and train service staff as needed
· Run a service route several times per week and as needed
· Monitor and ensure technician routes are successfully completed.
· Evaluate performance and provide ongoing training to service technicians.
· Maintain inventory of pest control products.
· Provide service and solutions to customers who have concerns.
Service Manager Requirements:
· 5+ years of pest control experience
· 2+ years of management experience
· Licensed and Certified in Termite and Structural Pest Control
· Must be able to work well with others, exhibit leadership, customer service, and communication skills
· Knowledge of pest control industry-specific practices and procedures
· Expert Knowledge of pest control industry standards and Florida state and federal regulations
· Previous sales management experience
· Ability to make quick decisions
· Exceptional customer service and retention skills
· Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent follow-up, organizational, and time management skills
· Need to be able to multi-task and perform a wide variety of duties
· Have an excellent driving record
· A background check including a drug screen and physical may be required.
Field Manager Responsibilities:
· Learn and participate in all aspects of the pest control industry, Including, technical, sales, administrative, and operational management
· Work closely with Regional Manager, Director of Customer Experience, and Account Managers
· Supervise, train and evaluate service technicians and staff
· Coordinate and enforce company policy and procedures
· Manage a multi-level team, including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and counseling at least three individuals.
· Effectively incorporate company core values within the branch
· Perform other duties as assigned
