Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Heating Ventilation, & Air Conditioning Senior Manager to join our team. This role involves the responsible supervisory and technical work in directing the installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and related equipment; and related work as with commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Install new air conditioning units and systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning equipment, including refrigerant leaks and electrical problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in air conditioning system design and installation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles and equipment repair.
- Experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices and appliance repair.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) years of full-time supervisory experience in the maintenance and repair of climate control systems such as pumps, chillers and boilers.
- 1st Class Air Conditioning Refrigeration license.*
- 1st Class Boilers license issued by the Board of Examiners of Operating Engineers of the City of New Orleans.*
