Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and manage the operations of a local branch within the flooring installation industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who is confident in decision-making, capable of fostering a productive work environment, and focused on enhancing the profitability of the branch. Performance incentives are offered based on the net income of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, enforce company policies, and maintain operational standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve growth objectives and optimize financial budgets.
- Lead sales initiatives, build client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Foster a productive work environment that supports professional development and team culture.
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
- Monitor and enhance operational and financial performance; prepare reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and resolve issues impacting profitability and operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role, with strong leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong strategic planning, financial budgeting, and analytical skills.
- Broad understanding of business processes, including finance, HR, procurement, and operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
