Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and mechanical knowledge, with experience in ammonia refrigeration and equipment repair. This role involves maintaining and servicing refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration units to identify potential problems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete field service tasks effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites as needed for service calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC or HVAC/R systems is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Experience in plumbing is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
