We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems within HVAC systems.
- Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing their concerns and ensuring their HVAC systems operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, repair, and maintain various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required for service calls.
