Job Title: HVAC Technician
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), cooling towers, water pumps, water source heat pumps, 100% outside air rooftop units, and chillers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with VFDs, cooling towers, water pumps, water source heat pumps, rooftop units, and chillers.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment status.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of VFDs, cooling towers, cooling tower gear reducers, water pumps, water source heat pumps, 100% outside air rooftop units, and chillers.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification, NATE certification) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
