Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to service and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration units.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with design teams to provide input on system layouts and specifications.
- Operate service vehicles safely while driving to various job sites as required.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and equipment serviced.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs and solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field service role.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems design, installation, and repair techniques.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing equipment issues.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
