Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, appliance repair, and property maintenance. This role involves working in various environments to ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in some residential and mostly commercial properties.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of heating and cooling systems using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Design and implement effective solutions for HVAC system improvements.
- Weld and fabricate components as required for system installation or repair.
- Operate company vehicles for field service calls; must possess a valid driver's license.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with Project Managers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC/R field service with a solid understanding of system design and operation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and other relevant equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Boiler experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic welding skills are a plus for fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position; van driving experience is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
