Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functional. A strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively are key attributes for success in this position.

Duties

Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Conduct repairs on various equipment and fixtures throughout the facility.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as needed.
Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment including an ohmmeter.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to maintenance work.
