We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. Duties
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Conduct repairs on various equipment and fixtures throughout the facility.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment including an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to maintenance work.
