POSITION SUMMARY
GC Legacy Plumbing is seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our commercial construction team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and other construction professionals to ensure high-quality plumbing installations that meet industry standards and local codes. The ideal candidate is one who is self-driven, eager to learn, with a desire to continue to grow and develop their skills in order to achieve their personal, professional and financial goals through the work they perform in their role.

OBJECTIVES
● Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems with excellent quality, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings for commercial properties.
● Interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to plan and execute installations accurately.
● Work on water supply lines, drainage systems, grease traps and gas lines.
● Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
● Provide guidance to apprentices or less experienced team members.
● Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and repair issues.
● Test systems for leaks, functionality, and compliance with local codes.
● Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols on job sites.
● Ensure all work complies with state, local, and national plumbing codes.
● Maintain and update licenses and certifications as required by local regulations.
COMPETENCIES
● Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
● Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● License: Valid Journeyman Plumber license in Texas.
● Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial plumbing or construction.
● Language Skills: Able to speak and understand English.
● Education: High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
● This position will require travel throughout Texas: up to 40%
