RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Management: Working with department manager to recruit, hire, train, supervise, and mentor a team of HVAC technicians. Conduct performance reviews, address performance issues, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Review service reports, and ensure technicians adhere to company standards and safety protocols along performing site visits with technicians to provide field training for demand service calls along with Preventative maintenance inspections.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant safety regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices. Keeping up with all mandatory licenses and certifications that are required by techs.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures. Ability to provide in-field tech support and field training as needed.
- Service Operations: Help develop and implement efficient service procedures, schedules, and dispatch systems. Monitor technician performance, ensuring timely and effective service delivery. Working with the dispatch team to help route services and prioritize urgent requests.
- Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, address service complaints promptly and professionally, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. May involve direct interaction with customers to resolve issues, including site visits with customers to work out any concerns/issues customers might have.
- Inventory Management: Working with technicians to maintain proper inventory along with managing vehicle stocks inventory control. Oversee inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring sufficient stock to meet service demands while minimizing waste and storage costs. Also includes warranty parts management, insuring parts have been returned to the vendor and credits have been received.
- Financial Management: Collaborating with other managers to help track service revenue, expenses, and profitability. Prepare reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings. May be involved in budgeting and forecasting.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience in HVAC service and repair (typically 5+ years).
- Proven experience in managing a team of technicians.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Proficient in using service management software and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA certification (or equivalent) is usually required.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
