Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drain Technician to join our team. As a Drain Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing drain issues in residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Perform drain cleaning and unclogging services using specialized equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify the cause of drain issues
- Diagnose issues with drainage systems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Install new drains and sewer lines as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
- Work on construction sites, collaborating with other tradespeople as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding work to be performed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Drain Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and components
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in drain cleaning and repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes
- Experience in maintenance person work or remodeling is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely, demonstrating physical stamina.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the field.

Pay: $24.12 - $27.94 per hour
