Position Overview
As a Yacht Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, installations, and repairs on various marine vessels. Your work will include inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical components, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring our clients’ vessels are operating safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for boats. We are currently looking to hire technicians with experience in areas such as marine electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general vessel maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform vessel maintenance tasks
- Conduct and assist with repairs and installations on mechanical and electrical systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and safety systems, such as bilge pumps, fire alarms, and more
- Prepare vessels for trips and ensure all systems are functioning correctly
- Collaborate with team members and external professionals (mechanics, dockmasters, electricians, etc.)
- Test and maintain critical vessel systems and safety equipment
Skills & Attributes
- Marine maintenance expertise
- Proficiency in boat operation and safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with marine engines (highly desired)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and safety systems on vessels
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfort working on and around water
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in yacht service
- Proficiency in rigging, engine mechanics, and marine electrical systems
- Experience with hand and power tools, as well as assembly and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with vehicle or marine system maintenance
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- A reliable work ethic and keen eye for detail
Compensation & Benefits
- Flexible compensation structures (1099 or W2) available

Work Environment
- Physical work around vessels and on the water
- Must be able to lift and operate equipment
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
